Hello! Yes, we do still exist.
2016 is turning out to be a crazy, busy year. Where does the time go?
This blog became a quick afterthought (or non-thought) since the kids usually give me about 50 decent minutes alone to myself during the day—which I unapologetically use to plop myself on the couch and do absolutely nothing. Or sometimes take a nap. Even read a book (I’ve read 3 books already this year…more than I read in all of 2015!). And I find myself wanting to give my kids more privacy and limiting what I share with the world.
But I’ve heard from several friends & family who miss seeing the Too Cute Thursday posts (maybe you’ve all given up hope on seeing anything besides those!) and I know someday I’ll look back and maybe be a bit sad that there’s a huge gap in telling the story of Gabe’s first year(s) with us. I don’t want to fall back on the whole ‘oh, second children….’ excuse because I never felt slighted by my mom.
So without further ado, here we quickly go. 2016!
The perfect portrait of Elise, age 4 ½. Elsa nightgown, silly face.
I really like them when they really like each other.
Wild boy in his perfect place—wide open spaces to run away from mommy.
Hi there, yes, we’re still around. Life is busy busy and not busy, all at the same time. And we had some blog issues that my wonderful tech guy fixed last night, so we are back in business! [I say that with the optimism of someone who doesn’t have two little kiddos.] Since I’ve absentmindedly kept you from enjoying Too Cute Thursdays for several weeks, I’m sharing a few extra photos with you today. Hiphiphooray!
Hope you enjoy seeing kids making silly (and ridiculously cute) faces—because that’s usually what our offspring do best.Pacific Northwest beaches are the best!
Coordinated Christmas pjs are a must have for all siblings, right?
There are not many things he loves more in this world than taking a bath. His silliest behavior always comes out when he can be naked and free.
She sings Christmas songs all day long.
He’s just the coolest little man there is. I’m smitten with him.
From our 2nd annual mommy daughter trip to the ballet. I’m already excited for next year!
She loves reading to him (mostly from memorization) and he loves having her read to him. A match made in Heaven.
The sweetest boy. 99% of the time. Ok, more like 90%.
Elise has such a good eye for fashion and a unique sense of style, I love seeing what outfits she puts together every morning (and sometimes several other times throughout the day as well).
“Mommy, I will be his mommy and hold his hand so you don’t have to try.”
Gabriel loves being outside and speed walking around like he’s invincible. I kind of understand why people get harnesses for their kids.
Little Miss Pumpkin.
Working on their typing and computing skills. I suppose it’s only a matter of time before they’re writing code and creating their own websites. Look out for mommyfeedmeNOW.com soon.
softly loudly and carry a big stick. – Gabriel G. Harris
Rocking the model pose on our weekend hike. I don’t know where she learned that sassiness.
The two cutest pumpkins I ever did see.
Blissfully driving the fire truck at toddler group. Pretty much anything with a steering wheel is his favorite thing.
