Finding time to see all our friends while we’re back in Kansas City is always the biggest struggle and it’s practically impossible. Thankfully, our awesome hosts for the week, Ben & Kim (& Diesel too), were kind enough to have a BBQ and help us ‘check off’ seeing some friends. Not everyone could attend, but we did get to see our friends Stuart, Jason & Ali, and Crystal. This was also the first time we got to see her4 month old son, Gavin, up close and personal––what a cute, happy little boy. He was obviously the center of attention.
Ali, Crystal, me & Kim: we’ve all known each other since grade school–-I love these ladies. I just wish I lived closer to them. correction: I just wished THEY lived closer to ME.
The guys hung out in the garage like all manly men do and that was the end to a good evening. Thanks, Ben & Kim, for being great hosts!

Hello!!!!
I stumbled across your blog and am sooo bumped. I love looking at your pics and I miss you guys. My mom told
me awhile back that you live in Seattle. We live in Salem
you know, so we are only four hours away! It would be
great fun to get together sometime. Marvin has a cousin
in Seattle too. Wow, there would be so much to catch up
on I wouldn’t know where to start. Talk to ya soon.

It’s so great to hear from you and now that I have your email, I’ll contact you there. I’d love to try and get together sometime, somewhere since we’re kinda close!
