Special Guests

I’m always happy to break out the air mattress and welcome some weekend visitors.  We’re excited to have Todd’s parents here for the weekend and spend some time just hanging out since we haven’t seen them since Christmas. Hopefully the weather will not be too dumpy and we’ll be able to take them to some Seattle spots they’ve never been and spend some time outdoors.

This afternoon we headed down to the Market to stop by a tea shop and the quilt store….and two chocolate shops. :)

These vibrant fabrics kinda make me wish I had a sewing machine….and knew what to do with it!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and for all of you ‘enjoying’ the spring snow…stay warm!!

speaking of snow/ice–shawn’s cousin got married (in wichita) saturday; weather was so crummy but the wedding was a success.
LOVE that fabric. i’m inheriting shawn’s grandma’s sewing machine and am excited to learn how to sew!

We had a WONDERFUL time, and any time you see some fabric that you love and want something made out of it (except for clothes because it has been too long since I did that), I’m your woman! I’m good at potholders, table runners, wall hangings, coasters, etc. Also I have made a couple of tote bags in my day!
    Love, Mom H
