Nothing really newsworthy to blog about from us, but in the effort to keep you updated on our lives, here’s what’s been going on recently:
Todd is keeping busy with work and working on developing some iphone applications. I am still looking for a job and doing all the random things that seem to take up my ‘free time’, while working on getting my own custom wedding invitation business up and running. We’re planning a trip for this fall (more on that in a future blogpost), keeping busy with church and our small group activities, enjoying dinner dates with friends and just continuing to explore our city.
Recently, we attended Todd’s work party that was rescheduled due to the snow we had back in December. It was quite the shindig, a James Bond ‘Casino Royale’ theme— complete with a live band, scrumptious food, casino and arcade games.
It was fun to get all dressed up and meet some of Todd’s coworkers. Plus, it’s not often that I get to see Todd in a suit, so I enjoyed that. Thankfully, for me, our friends Ryan and Aubrey were there too since Ryan works on the same team as Todd. I get uncomfortable when I’m surrounded by too many computer geeks, so it’s always good to have Aubrey there to keep things ‘normal’
