Our friends Dallas and Meridith came to visit us for a few days. They flew in from Denver on Thursday and we met our Seattle friends Ryan and Aubrey out for a late meal and drinks. Dallas and Ryan were both groomsmen in our wedding so we were glad to get everyone together again.
Friday was spent being tourists. We walked to the Space Needle, rode the Monorail downtown, went to Pike Place Market, rode the ferry to Bainbridge Island and finished out the evening enjoying some wine and games together.
Saturday was a lazy day of walking around Capitol Hill, visiting the Ferrari & Maserati dealership, and reliving college memories at Pita Pit.
Dallas & Todd met in the K-State Motorsports Club, so it’s a guarantee that when they’re together, the focus is cars, cars, cars. A little-known fact is that I knew Dal & Mer from advertising classes at K-State before I even met Todd. It really is a small, small world afterall.
We enjoyed the time we got to spend with them, but it seems like they were leaving for the airport before we knew it. We’re already looking forward to taking a trip to Denver to visit them. Maybe then I can get some good snow skiing in
